DAVID V DANIEL

David Daniel is a veteran cinematographer who splits his year between Los Angeles, New York City and Atlanta.


Currently he is the director of photography on Amazon/Blumhouse series The Bondsman starring Kevin Bacon. Paramount + new series Wolf Pack, and last year he completed four seasons of CW's Roswell New Mexico for Amblin.  Recently doing an episode of Legacies for the CW and the final season of Scream.  He shot the complete series of Teen Wolf. He has also did additional photography for AMC’s The Walking Dead

Mr. Daniel photographed several features: Teen Wolf Movie directed by Russell Mulcahy. Paramount + new comedy Pretty Stoned. The Rob Zombie film's Three From Hell; as well as his controversial 31. Brad Coley's dark thriller Frank the Bastard, comedies Speed Dating, My Girlfriends Back and Death of a Dynasty, the cult horror classic Leprechaun Back in the Hood, the Roc-a- fella crime drama State Property, GM Chan’s Not a Day Goes By, and the Wu-Tang directed Bobby Digital.

He has done feature second unit work for the Dimension horror film Polaroid. Lionsgate action film The Punisher: War Zone, the Universal Studio comedy Blu Crush 2, Jet Lee and Jason Strathan‘s War, Terrance Howard’s Pride and Usher’s In the Mix and NYC location photography for Mary Harron’s American Psycho aa well as Billy Ray's Shattered Glass.

Over the past few years Mr. Daniel has shot three seasons of the Monday Night Football show openers with guest stars Arnold Swartzenegger , James Wood, Samuel Jackson, Kiefer Sutherland , Dwayne Johnson, as well as dozens of other stars. He photographed the opening for Sunday Night Football featuring Pink and Thursday Night Footballs opening with Faith Hill. Last season his NFL Network openers were nominated for an Emmy.

In New York Mr. Daniel has a long list of commercial clients including Macy's, Walmart, Nokia, with fashion pieces for Burberry, Bloomingdales, BCBC, Elizabeth Arden, Gerry Sportswear, Barneys , Berger Christensen.

Over the years Mr. Daniel has photographed over five hundred music videos for artist as diverse as Mariah Carey, Tupac Shakur, Nine-Inch Nails, LL Cool J, and Ice Cube.

Mr. Daniel has shot a series of films for the artist Sarah Morris.

He studied at Bard and completed hid degree at NYU.
